Ben Summer is a writer, poet and public speaker, His magic way with words brings his characters and their environment vividly to life. He totally immerses the reader into their world. The rich, famous and infamous provide a background to the events and places his characters inhabit but it is the everyday lives of the ordinary folk of their period who are his inspiration.

His career has taken him around the world including a six year stint living on a boat on the English canal system. In later life he qualified as a clinical hypnotherapist and psychotherapist. Now Ben and his artist wife Bee Lilli live on the coast of South Wales. They have six children, five grandchildren and one great grandson between them. While Bee is painting in her studio, Ben is writing in his loft. Together they enjoy trips to the esplanade to eat ice cream and to chat with the holidaymakers and locals.
